Calabash Fruit (Himala-Miracle Fruit)

Way back three years ago, I remembered how my friend's Mom shared about her medicinal plant that would cure many illnesses in the world. Honestly, I've never paid attention about she said since I go for safe medications that were examined and proven by health institutions here and abroad. Searching it through the internet is far from my concerns before.

Calabash Fruit or commonly known as Himala (Miracle) Fruit by Dabawenyos are beginning to marvel the fruit's capability to cure illnesses to people especially in our place. The leaves are used as tea after it was air dry while the fruit is processed by heat to produced sweet gummy liquid like honey. According to them, its liquid cures someone's sickness like asthma or respiratory problems, hypertension, cold, arthritis, diarrhea and to some may help decrease blood sugar. Yes, my friend Adette, who happens to be the owner of the fruit, can attest that this fruit helps decreased blood sugar of her brother-in-law. Actually, they are regularly asking them to send the fruit through PAL for their daily consumption there since it was the reason also why their bedridden mother became energetic and can walk without any aid after she started drinking the Himala juice.

Frankly speaking, I can't differentiate for now the feeling before and after I drink the Himala juice. Maybe it is because I'm healthy as of this moment. But I was shocked when my rich friends are asking where to find that fruit? Oh no no! Does it mean they believe the fruit's capability? Anyway, for your information, Himala products (leaves and fruits) are now seen being sold in the market. I saw it at NCCC mall before. :)
